Investigator

The Federal Public Defender for the Districts of North Dakota and South Dakota is accepting applications for the position of INVESTIGATOR. The Defender's Office provides legal representation to indigent people charged with federal crimes. The Investigator's position is located in Fargo, North Dakota, and requires travel for work primarily in rural settings on Indian reservations. Position requires a minimum of 5 years investigative experience. Candidate must be knowledgeable in investigative and interview techniques, rules of evidence, court procedures, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
